Beach Wood Boutique Hotel & Resort decided not to condone the “romantic candlelight dinner” excuse for leaving customers in the dark during power failures.  Beach Wood Boutique Hotel makes no compromise to ensure your stay is at your favourite home away from home.

This boutique hotel was in the process of expanding its hotel to accommodate more customers, and the Red Energy team was contracted to install a Sigenergy system along with solar panels to ensure their new extension could operate independently.

They aimed to eliminate power failures and become self-sufficient.  Even though this required a substantial financial investment, they would benefit from immediate savings on their electricity bill.

Following consultations with our team, the recommended solution was to install a class-leading AI-powered SigenStor power management system with a total capacity of 150kVA with enough battery capacity to support 6 hours of operations. This was accompanied by 160 solar panels.

Another major factor for going solar was the cost of electricity.  Could they really save a significant amount over the long run?

The answer is an obvious yes.  The following factors eliminate any expenses over the next 10 years:

  • The 10-year replacement guarantee of the batteries and inverters
  • Zero maintenance requirements
  • Enhanced AI system management, and
  • Class leading complete system protection features

Because the SigenStor is AI-powered, monitoring, programming and management of the system is done straight from a smartphone through the MySigen App.  No one needs to walk over to the inverter and check anything.  Even reports and system status are via a notification.

Noisy generators should not be normal in any holiday location.

At Beach Wood Boutique Hotel, they don’t do things half-baked, especially at the Skippies restaurant.  Consistently good food is made with… well… consistency.  And that is exactly what the SigenStor solar power system provides.  Ingredients stay fresh and the cooking is always on time to serve delicious dishes, as intended.

Becoming self-sufficient was truly a gateway to improve their operations.  Guests don’t need to sacrifice amenities and Beach Wood Boutique Hotel can remain a favourite destination on the Dolphin Coast.
